Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23rd, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. There are five siblings in her family: 2 half brothers a half sister, and a younger sibling and brother. The parents of her named her after they believed she could achieve greatness. Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), where she starred in the role of a lesser-known character, was also a success. Cyrus was chosen in 2005 to be the lead of the Disney TV show Hannah Montana, which is an edgy teenager living a dual life. Her father was once again with the show. This show became a hit with sold-out tours along with hit albums and deals with merchandise followed. Cyrus soon became an instant hit in the eyes of young people. Cyrus began to take on various roles in the wake of her popularity as Hannah Montana (2006). The roles included Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song in 2010) as well as Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
